ABOUT - DEEJAY VIJAY
Deejay Vijay has a soul passion for art and music. His dedication towards music and professionalism towards DJying got him many achievements throughout his career of 15 years in industry. He was pursuing his advance education from Mumbai University when he left his engineering midway in pursuit of his artistic dream. He started his career as an assistant DJ at Hard Rock Cafe,Mumbai and from thereafter shooting off his career as a full time DJ in the world of music. He has been owning the residencies of well known clubs of India since then till now which includes Hard Rock Cafe Mumbai, Firangi Pani (Chembur, Bandra, Andheri, Pune and Hyderabad) , Spoil Club Hyderabad and Cuba Libre (Hyderabad, Seasons Mall Pune and Phoenix Mall Pune).
For his talent, passion and knowledge of music, he has got opportunities to open the night for artists like Armin Van Burren, Jay Sean, Ashley Wallbridge, Jaytec, Ronski Speed and many more. He has performed in many clubs in many cities like 21 Fahrenheit Mumbai, Hard Rock Cafe Pune , 10 Downing Street Hyderabad , Marine Plaza, Mumbai, Shazam Pune, Hashtag Lounge Pune , Area 51 Pune and list goes on. He has also played in big events like Pune Music Festival, Super Bike festival , Symbiosis College Pune, Holi Bash and many more.
His father being a tabla and harmonium player has always given him inspiration and made him follow to the art of making music. With this, he started producing Bollywood remixes in year 2016 and launched his first album Unite Volume 1 in the year of 2017 and Unite Volume 2 and Unite Volume 3 in year 2018 which are hits and many more are planned for upcoming years. He also produced EDM mixes of popular songs like Faded and I took a pill in Ibiza.
A passionate and creative artist with the sense of rhythm and a feeling for music, he has the ability to creatively express it through music and make crowd happy He has a sound knowledge of EMP as base to understand the science of modulations.
Vijay as a DJ, specialises in Rock & Retro as part of his initial exposure at HRC, but he plays competitive music for various other clubs as well. As part of his 15 years of career, he diversifies his music to Electro, BigRoom, Progressive, Commercial, Hip Hop, Trap and Bollywood.
